VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

We love volunteers! Review the committees below and the different ways you can contribute your passion, skills and experience. You are helping to Inspire, Educate and Empower girls and women in technology. Volunteering also offers opportunities to get to know others in your community, learn new skills and expand your networks.

Community Outreach – Role Model Speakers

The Community Outreach Committee focuses on South Florida female students between the ages of 8-18. The goal is to encourage these young women to become involved in the field of Technology and Engineering.  This is accomplished through the ITWomen Role Model Speakers Program (RMS). As Community Outreach members, we will be committed to proactively seek out opportunities within the community to speak to our target audience, to recruit Role Model Speakers and to identify new Partners who will enable us to meet and surpass our goals.  We ask that the Committee members become advocates for the ITWomen Role Model Speakers program at ITWomen meetings and other meetings and events they attend.  The Committee will review the program on periodic bases to ensure healthy growth, sustainable activity and goal achievement
