2012 NCWIT Aspiration Awards Southeast Region, RMS Recognition

ITWomen held the March 8, 2012 event to honor its Role Model Speakers and thank them for their commitment and involvement, in conjunction with hosting the regional NCWIT (National Center for Women & Information Technology) Aspirations Awards.  The 12 winners and 8 runner-ups were recognized for their computing-related aspirations and for  outstanding aptitude and interest in information technology/computing; solid leadership ability; good academic history; and plans for post-secondary education.

Keynote Speaker Tina Rourk, CIO of Wyndham Vacation Ownership, talked about the growing opportunities for women in technology fields.
