ITWomen Founder Named Technical Leader of the Year

DAVIE, FL, November 09, 2011 – Victoria Usherenko, Founder and President of ITWomen, has been named Technical Leader of the Year by the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA), South Broward Chapter.
In its annual event, the  ABWA chapter recognized Ms. Usherenko as one of ten Women of Distinction who demonstrate a Spirit of Excellence in making a difference in Broward County, Florida.
ITWomen is a grassroots organization dedicated to advancing women in IT and technology. Its outreach initiatives provide role models and scholarships to encourage and increase the number of girls pursuing degrees in technology and engineering fields.
This is the second time in two years that Ms. Usherenko has been recognized by South Florida civic groups for ITWomen’s contributions. Last year, the Women’s History Coalition of Miami-Dade County, Inc., honored her as a Woman of Impact.
