By sharing what motivated you in your career and tips for getting there, you can help inspire girls in their formative years to consider futures in technology or engineering. ITWomen Role Model Speakers Program Coordinator

Deerfield Beach High School, Broward

February Tuesday 9:45 am to 11:00 am
mCommerce and localized approaches to globalization
25 girls, 25 boys/ Media

PACE Center for Girls, Broward

Sessions are for 10-15 girls, grades 8-11.
Topics of interest are along the lines of:

  • What it’s like to be in a tech job (yours)
  • Company tour
  • Project management Workshop
  • Dress for success on a shoestring budget.
  • IT (information technology) can be fun!
  • Workshop/ Show and Tell style session with emerging technologies/ Robotics

January – 26, 27
February – 3, 4, 9, 10, 17, 18, 23

Any one- hour slot between 9 am and 2 pm would suffice. A lead time of 1-2 weeks to coordinate permissions and transportation for field trips is required.
