Akamai Sponsoring ITWomen 2021 Summer Tech Camp for Girls

We are thrilled to announce that Akamai will be the 2021 Executive Sponsor for ITWomen’s Summer Coding and Programming Camp for Girls. Akamai will also participate as Host for the camp’s Security Day. “Akamites” will be sharing insights into CyberSecurity and Security Careers while helping the girls secure their websites, and help celebrate the girls’ accomplishments in closing ceremonies.

Camp Dates June 14 – June 25

ITWomen’s annual Summer Coding and Programming Tech Camp for girls will run for 10 days, from June 14 – June 25, 2021, from 9am – 2pm daily. The camp is offered free of charge. Girls will learn how to develop websites. Each morning, female tech executives and professionals will start the day by sharing how they came to technology, their career paths and encourage girls to reach for a future in tech. World Fuel Services Will Kickoff with Wireframe Lesson

Thank you to World Fuel Services. Their team is scheduled to present the girls with a Wireframe exercise with a UX/UI Specialist on the camp’s first day.
