91 Scholarships to Date!
ITWomen has awarded 91 Scholarships to outstanding female graduates since the organization’s founding in 2002, thanks to the generous support of the IT community in South Florida. More than half a million dollars has been raised. The funds for the scholarships are raised each year through the previous November’s ITWomen Celebrity CIO Scholarship Fundraiser and individual gift sponsors and donations to the ITWomen Charitable Foundation.
The $8,000 scholarships are four-year renewable scholarships of $2,000 per year. In addition, the ITWomen Virtual Mentor program will pair each student with a mentor for support through the college years.
