Akamai Foundation Grant Helps ITWomen Offer Free Summer STEM Camp for Girls

I’m thrilled to thank the Akamai Foundation for once again partnering with ITWomen to help us deliver a FREE Summer Camp and STEM programming for girls. Akamai’s $10,000 Grant helps us continue our work of reducing the gender gap in Technology across our community. 

Our 2023 summer robotics camp for middle and high school girls will run from July 10 – 14.

Special thanks to program sponsors, Roger Barranco, Jennifer Arbelaez, and Teresa Colon for nominating ITWomen and continuing to partner with us to have optimal impact with these critical funds and Akamai’s incredible team. 

Each year the Akamai Foundation provides opportunities in our community to help promote the growth of STEM.  With the main goal of partnering with organizations that prioritize and address digital equity and inclusion. 

The Akamai Foundation supports the next generation of technology innovators and critical thinkers with a strategic focus on STEM programming for K-12 youth.
