ITWomen Announces 2026 Scholarship Recipients
Hello ITWomen Supporters!
We are pleased to announce the selection of our ITWomen 2026 Scholarship Recipients. This year’s cohort represents another exceptional group of young women who have demonstrated strong academic achievement, leadership, and a clear passion for pursuing careers in technology and engineering.

University of Florida – Computer Science Engineering - Ana Albornoz – Nova High School
University of Central Florida – Computer Science - Gabriela Fernandez – School for Advanced Studies North
University of Central Florida – Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering - Jayda Washington-Boothe – Coconut Creek High School / Atlantic Technical College
Florida A&M University / Florida State University – Computer Science Engineering - Liah Paulino Severino – Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts
Florida Atlantic University – Management Information Systems - Tara Conway – MAST Academy
Columbia University – Computer Science Engineering
These outstanding students were selected from a highly competitive pool of applicants and embody the mission of ITWomen to inspire, educate, and empower the next generation of women in technology.
Each recipient received a total scholarship of $8,000 ($1,000 per semester), along with access to ITWomen’s mentoring program and ongoing support from our community at our virtual awards ceremony May 18.
